Marriage is the icing on the cake, and oh how sweet it is with a cake from Mama J Bakes! I take the utmost of care in helping you celebrate your special day. Take a look at my consultation and ordering process below to easily book the cake of your dreams and make your special day even more special. First, your Wedding Consultation
This no-obligation consultation is my chance to talk with you and really get to understand your vision for your special day so that, hopefully, I can meet your criteria. Consultations are conducted via phone. Simply upload some inspiration – color swatches, a wedding invitation, inspiration pics, or even a link to your Pinterest board – and we will work together to reach the design of your dreams. And if you don’t have a definite idea of what you would like, I will pick your brain and suggest ideas to help reach a custom cake design that brings excitement!
Next, it's time to design & taste...
Once we reach a design concept, I will follow up the consultation with a fully detailed quote* including a color sketch of your wedding cake design and a Taster Box**. The Taster Box will have samples of delicious flavors of your choice from my menu that you may pick up and enjoy at your leisure.
Now let's confirm your date!
If you then wish to lock in your order, the consultation and taster box fees will go towards the payment of your cake and a deposit of 50% of the remaining cost ($500 if $1000 or more) will secure your date.
If you need to make any changes, these can be done up to 4 weeks before the big day.
I will have your cake ready for your big day. Your complimentary 1st Anniversary Cake will be packaged and ready as well! In the meantime, I will be just a call away if you need advice, whether that be cake-wise or not.

Consider when you will serve your cake. The portion sizes you want may vary depending on whether you serve it as a dessert or as part of an evening meal.

Send some inspiration! Your inspirational pics and Pinterest links are always welcomed! They will help me establish your style.

Considering the above point, please understand that I will not make a carbon copy of another cake designer’s creation. Inspiration is great, but allowing creativity will guarantee a design that is uniquely yours.
* Pricing is based on the size, style, fillings, décor, and distance to your venue.
** The Taster Cake Box is $60 (includes two settings of up to 3 cake & buttercream flavors and fillings of your choice from my menu), and the Taster Treat Box is $50 (includes two settings of up to 4 treats of your choice from my menu). Either can be ordered when you're ready.
